Eckart Voigts

Professor de Literatura Inglesa na Technische Universität Braunschwei. Dr. Eckart Voigts foi presidente da German Society for Contemporary Theatre and Drama in English (2010-2016) e cofundador do Journal of Contemporary Drama in English, atuando como coeditor de 2013 a 2016. Desde 2016, trabalha com Jeanette Malkin (Hebrew University, Jerusalém) no projeto de pesquisa “Hyphenated Cultures: Contemporary British Jewish Theatre” com fundos do Projeto de Pesquisa German Lower Saxony-Israel (Niedersächsisches Vorab) da Volkswagen Stiftung. Voigts escreveu, editou e coeditou diversos livros e artigos sobre teatro britânico de vanguarda, mashups, intermidialidade e adaptação: Filming the Past, Screening the Present: Neo-Victorian Adaptations (com Shannon Wells-Lassagne, WVT 2021); e Companion to British-Jewish Theatre since the 1950s (with Jeanette R. Malkin and Sarah J. Ablett, Bloomsbury 2021); Companion to Adaptation Studies (Routledge 2018, com Dennis Cutchins and Katja Krebs); Reflecting on Darwin (2014); Dystopia, Science Fiction, Post-Apocalypse (2015); Adaptations – Performing Across Media (2009) e Janespotting and Beyond: British Heritage Retrovisions since the Mid-1990s (2005).
